This page explains what information Better Half BD collects, why, and who can see it.

1. What we collect
Account details (name, email, password), profile information you provide (age, district, profession, religion, lifestyle answers, bio, interests), photos you upload, and activity on the service (likes, matches, messages, saved profiles).
2. Payment information
For manual bKash/Nagad payments, we store the transaction ID and amount you submit to verify your payment. We do not collect your bKash/Nagad PIN or full account credentials.
3. How we use your data
To operate matching, chat, and premium features; to review verification and payment submissions; and to keep the service safe (reviewing reports, suspending abusive accounts).
4. Who can see your information
Your public profile (photos marked public, name, basic details) is visible to other members. Photos you mark private are only visible to you and members you specifically approve. Our admin team can view profile and payment data to operate verification and support.
5. Data storage
Data is stored with our database provider (Supabase) using industry-standard access controls. Photos are stored privately and served through time-limited signed links.
6. Your choices
You can edit or remove your profile information and photos at any time. To delete your account entirely, contact support.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the product evolves. Continued use of the service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated policy.
